Old, rustic wooden décor is The Barrow House. Situated in Clifton, New Jersey, this exceptional bar and restaurant houses a fantastic collection of artisanal craft beers and will make you feel like you’re in a real life Western, where you would expect the gunslinging town Sheriff to walk in at any moment!
Authentic Western Decor
The stone fireplace adds to the Wild West theme at The Barrow House and transports the guest back to that colonial-era, assisted by vintage looking window panes, traditional shutters and thin white columns which are synonymous with farmhouse porches during the cultural wave of the American frontier.
Traditional Features
Looking like a real-life moonshine saloon, the bar is set in a former colonial-era farmhouse which has tons of distressed wooden elements, including a reclaimed floor and ceiling, which is long and narrow and mirrors the traditional Western style. The bar takes centre stage here, it is light and bright and full of beer and liquor, just as you would expect – the bar front is a fantastic wooden feature full of knots and characterful features which add even more rustic authenticity to this fantastic space.
Rustic Wooden Furniture
The bar is surrounded by the ‘Old English’ Rustic Oak Bar Stools which add to the cowboy-esque style of this interior. The ‘Old English’ Stool looks like a traditional stool, is made from quality oak and has an aged, distressed finish. The seat is height adjustable with a cast iron frame making it extremely durable. The stool tops off the vintage feel of this Western-infused bar!
