WHAT IS AN ARMCHAIR?

Put simply, an armchair is a single seater with armrests. But it can be so much more than that. An armchair is a standout feature for your home, and an investment piece. With so many styles available at Peppermill Interiors, you can find an armchair to suit every room.

Typically, you may imagine an armchair to be large, brown and leather. Don’t get me wrong, we do have those. And whilst these more traditional armchairs are ideal for period or vintage style properties, we want to show the vast options on offer for a contemporary space.

Velvet made a comeback in 2017, and it looks like it’s here to stay. Our range of velvet armchairs and occasional chairs bring a touch of opulence to both modern and retro inspired interiors. For a statement piece, and a nod to mid-century style, our ‘Arlo’ velvet accent chair in burnt orange is a great choice. The ‘Chambery’ velvet armchair is another fantastic option, with its shimmery emerald upholstery making it a focal point in any room. Our traditional leather armchairs are ideal for period properties and homely cottages, the perfect place to enjoy a quiet moment to yourself.

Choose a tub chair for a modern touch; the tub chairs are slightly smaller than your average armchair, but still boast all the style. Our ‘Bavaria’ and ‘Granville’ tub chairs are upholstered in super soft velvet. The ‘Bavaria’ oozes retro style with its quilted design, whilst the ‘Granville’ plays to the current Scandinavian trend.
