The Cove at Gourock, Scotland have described their interior as ‘a small sheltered bay’, inspired by the fact that they are overlooking Cardwell Bay. They pride themselves on their focus on local Scottish produce and have created a space where guests will feel instantly at home. The Cove have created their own hashtag - #morethanjustcoffee. This is to reinforce their belief that “there are no strangers here, only friends you have not met yet”.
As well as their barista led coffees and teas, The Cove is locally renowned for their freshly made bakery items! We are in awe of their pancake grazing platters – as you will see in the images to the right, they are phenomenal!
A Contemporary Focus
They have made the most of their contemporary space by clever furniture placement and use of built-in banquette seating around the walls and windows. There is a nod to an industrial vibe in this interior, with exposed Edison bulbs and gunmetal grey woodwork. This is kept warm and cosy using earthy neutrals and soft textures throughout. The Princeton Dining Chair provides a comfortable seat to dine on while giving a raw edge through the gunmetal, steel framework. The thin, minimalist legs of the tables and chairs create an illusion of more space which has allowed for maximum covers in this space.
Neutral And Cosy Interiors
The Princeton chair is available in tan, ash black, antique brown or olive green in a soft, genuine leather quilted upholstery. These colours work perfectly to warm this interior up while keeping it neutral. The colours reflect the natural landscape of the bay and enable The Cove to follow the current trend of bringing the outdoors in. They have also adorned their tables with greenery and have added gold, metallic accents throughout the space to give depth to the scheme with a layer of reflective surfaces.
