“Having had Peppermill Interiors recommended to us in the past, we have since been a loyal customer of theirs for over 5 years. Not only are their products unique and of great quality, but the standard of service is exceptional. We have had a many number of bespoke items from Peppermill, produced to fit the needs and style of our business. Their showroom offers a plethora of ideas and the team is always incredibly helpful. We are delighted with the result of our most recent garden project, furnished by Peppermill, and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them.”
The Princess Alexandra has been opening its doors since the early 1900's and although it has undergone extensive refurbishment, as to be expected with a period property, its charm remains intact. From the exposed original brickwork to the restored wooden beams, the character of this public house boasts a fusion of Edwardian and contemporary styling.
You will find a mix of Peppermill’s furniture throughout this interior, but the courtyard has stolen focus with its recent transformation into a colourful summer bistro. This beer garden is the perfect example of how an outside space can exude the style and decor of an interior. The walls of this courtyard have been decorated to disguise the functioning storage doors and increase the cosy beer garden vibe.
Essential Summer Seating
Taking inspiration from the vibrant coloured metal frames of the Summer Chairs, bold red and yellow stripes stand out against a black backdrop, complementing the orange hue of the exposed brickwork.
To increase the seating options, Summer Stools have been partnered with wall-mounted shelves, allowing patrons to perch in an informal manner. Both the stools and chairs are available in an array of bold colours, ready to brighten any space, and are suitable for outdoor use.
The metal powder-coated frames and solid oak slats make for a good quality seat that will withstand repetitive use. As an added bonus, these chairs can then be neatly stacked away over winter to free up space, or can be moved inside for additional seating.
A Mosaic Must-Have
With a mix of square and rectangular shaped tables, the mosaic design of these Ceramic Topped Tables form a harmonious synergy of pattern and colour. Their black tapered metal legs make a statement against the colourful slatted oak Summer Chairs and create an inviting space to enjoy a craft beer with friends.
These tables are ideal for commercial settings as they are made from lightweight materials, making them easy to move around, but also add a touch of style without dominating your existing decor. Topped with ceramic, these mosaic tables are easy to clean, waterproof, stain resistant and have an increased resistance to shocks and scratches. High in quality, there are three sizes to choose from as well as two colourways, offering flexibility to suit your commercial space.
Admired for its style, just like its namesake, The Princess Alexandra is a hub for Northampton locals. With over 30 varieties of beer on offer, they draw in a crowd of craft ale lovers and host regular events to keep their popularity fresh. Unashamedly bold, quirky, and boasting a 4.6 star Google rating, it’s worth a visit if you happen to be in the area!
