Rattan is similar to bamboo; however, it is a more solid material and is used extensively for making furniture and baskets . As you sit in these chairs the natural fibres flex slightly allowing a very comfortable seating position. Each chair has a slightly curved back, ideal for relaxing around a table whether it be in the dining room or kitchen. This chair has a more contemporary style, but also blends beautifully with period interiors.
