This genuine Victorian Mahogany Extending Dining Table was crafted by William Walker who was known for listing in ‘The Furniture Gazette: A Classified List of Furniture, Upholstery and Allied Trades’ in 1886. W.Walker participated in several late 19th century domestic and international furniture exhibitions and this table specifically, was made for the 1873 Vienna World Exhibition.
So, whether you’re an avid vintage collector or if you’re simply looking for a one-of-a-kind nostalgic statement, this table holds so much historical value. Featuring elegantly carved legs with traditional Greek patterns, porcelain castor for a refined retro look and three additional table panels that can be used to extend the table. When fully extended you can dine with up to twelve guests depending on chair size however, for smaller gatherings, you can use less table panels for a smaller extension. It’s completely up you!
